In August of 2009, Rev. Bryant was assigned to Allen Metropolitan C.M.E. Church and upon his relocation, a woman was murdered on the block adjacent to the church and parsonage.  The Roseland Neighborhood Community Organization (RNCO) was founded (2010) in response to the senseless violence in the community.

Pastor Bryant empowered the church members to go door to door encouraging neighbors to come to a Town Hall Meeting to share concerns and explore solutions to the problems plaguing the community. Consequently, the RNCO was founded.  The Organization comprises Neighborhood Block Clubs, Dunne Stem Academy, Alex Haley School, The New Roseland Community Hospital, and the Area Businesses.  RNCO meets monthly for community networking, community collaboration, information sharing, community programming and community empowerment.

Rev. Mosea Harris is presently serving as the president, Mr. James Cunningham serves as Secretary, Dr. Terrell Applewhite serves as the Medical Director and Pastor Bryant serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer.

Monthly Meetings, comprised of the RNCO, the Fernwood Community Organization and the NAACP will begin on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
